a day at the beach

I went to the the beach with Mummy and on the beach we...

 made a tower with shells

 took a picture of the tower

 drew a picture

made a smiley face (with more shells)

saw warm and toasty sign post

made birds in the sky sand

 walked on the beach while a seagull followed me

and wrote a message in the sand

my 10th birthday party

first I prepared a skull piñata starting a few days beforehand

then go carting with friends

next carving pumpkins

finally, finished jack-o-lanterns

and ate favourite chocolate cake

How to make a scrunchie for your hair

Supplies: a small piece of fabric about 52cm long by 6.5cm wide long and not too heavy, elastic around 24cm long by 5mm wide, scissors, needle and thread

1. Cut fabric to about 52cm x 6.5 cm
2. Fold it in half the long way with the printed side of the fabric facing eachother.
3. Stitch all the way down the edge to make a long tube.
4. Turn the tube inside out.
5. Cut a piece of elastic about 24cm long.
6. Thread the elastic through the tube then stitch the two ends of the elastic together. I stitched the two ends together twice to make it stronger.
7. Fold one end of the tube under about a centimetre then push the other end of the tube into the side that's folded under and stitch the ends together with small stitches

All done!

Giant Blueberry!

Yesterday I found this blueberry sitting with all the rest. I picked it up and 

almost ate it but then I realized how big it was! 

Bigger than a £1 coin!

I went to the British Museum in London on the weekend and the roof

was amazing.

It was the same day I went to see Jill and go to the Foundling Museum.

Not just the roof was amazing we saw loads of other cool stuff as well like

A pink hat and sunshiny morning

Tiny hat

I made this tiny hat, my mum showed it here before we covered it with felt. It's attached to a clip for me to wear in my hair. The hat is only 2 inches high (about 5 centimetres).

Soaking up the sun.

Our puppy likes to cuddle and she uses people as pillows.
